A/Prof. Le Thi Tuyet Lan graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam in 1978 and obtained PhD from the Academy of Medicine, Former Soviet Union in 1990 and Fellowship of the American Association for Respiratory Care (FAARC) from the USA in 2000. A/Prof. Dr. Le has served as the Professor in the Department of Physiology since 1978 and was also the Head of Respiratory Care Centre at the University Medical Centre Ho Chi Minh City since 2000. Currently, she is the Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City Society of Asthma and Allergy & Clinical Immunology.

A/Prof. Dr. Le has received the International fellowship of American Association of Respiratory Care in 2000. She is a Member of the American Association of Respiratory Care, Global Allergy & Airways Patient Platform, Global Alliance Against Chronic Respiratory Disease, European Respirology Society, Asia Pacific Society of Respirology and Ho Chi Minh City Society of Respirology. She is an active Advisory Board member in various asthma-related national, regional and international bodies. A/Prof. Dr. Le has published over 100 publications in including articles on newspapers and television broadcasts and is involved in developing academic content for medical students majoring in Tuberculosis, ENT and Respirology.
