Dr. Mark Cohen is medical specialist in Internal Medicine, Pneumology and Critical Medicine. He is a professor of Internal Medicine and Pneumology: Francisco Marroquín University, Rafael Landívar University. Member of the Recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of COPD of the Latin American Thoracic Association (ALAT)-2011, 2014 and 2019. Former President of the Guatemalan Association of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery and the Central American and Caribbean Federation of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery (2017-2019). In addition, Dr. Cohen was president of ALAT for the period 2020-2022
