Professor of Pulmonology at Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in both English and French sections. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Canadian Physicians and University Paris V. He was graduated from Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in 1994, he received his Master Degree in 1999 with a thesis on the relation between BA and GERD. He went to Paris where he worked in different university hospitals as a specialist for 4 years and earned his MD on the role of endobronchial electrocautery in the management of different tracheobronchial lesions. He is a member of the SPLF, ERS, ACCP and different Egyptian and Arabic societies of pulmonology. He has different publications in the Regional Chest Magazine and ERS conferences.
